The Black Alaskans Health Status Report Update.
In 2022, ABC published The Black Alaskans Health Status Report. This study was commissioned by The Alaska Black Caucus through a grant by the Municipality of Anchorage Health Department (Award G14536). It is the first Community Health Needs Assessment of Black-Identifying Alaskans. The report is available on the ABC Health Committee Website.
The Health Committee is looking for ways to continue to share the information in the report and use it to inform our programming and outreach.
We also want to keep hearing from the community about their health needs and priorities and will be looking for ways to do that. To share your thoughts with us, please contact the ABC Health Committee.
