When one looks at economic development in today’s USA, the picture of economic disparities and economic inequalities leads the list for Black Americans and other POC (People of Color). In brief, equal access to available opportunities and developing a ‘level playing field’ on which ALL of America’s Peoples could compete and thrive, equally, seems never to have been part of the ‘mainstream agenda’ for America’s growth and development – especially if it is to include giving ‘due consideration’ to non-White residents.

The ABC’s Economic Development Committee will address most of its time, energy and resources looking at what needs to be done, in the here and now’ to advance and protect the interest and efforts of Black and BIPOC entrepreneurs.
