The BEE is an award which recognizes one Black identifying Teacher of Color (retired or active) and one Black identifying Teaching Assistant for their contributions in the field of Education.

The recipient of the 2023 BEE Award will be announced on February 18, 2023 at the Bettye Davis African American Health/Equity Summit.
