The Health Committee is busy, and we love engaging with the community. Here’s what we’re currently working on.

• Funding update: Working closely with ABC leadership, we have applied for The Yield Giving Grant and received news that our application has made it to the second round of reviews. Keep your fingers crossed for us. We will announce if we receive the funding. 
• Community Conversation August 13, 2023. August is Suicide Prevention Month. We will host a Community Conversation focused on suicide prevention in Anchorage and Alaska. What resources are available and how can you or someone you love get the help you need? Join us!
• Community Conversation October 8, 2023. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. What resources are available in Alaska? What can you do to prevent Breast Cancer? We’ll be discussing all of this and more at the Community Conversation. We would love to have you join us. 
• Website updates: We’re working on making this space your go-to for information and resources for your health. Check out the links below for specific topics. And keep an eye on this space for updates from the health committee.
