Join the Alaska Black Caucus and community partners for the BIPOC Health Fair at Delaney Park on Sat. June 11 to stand united as a BIPOC community, join in together in the fight against COVID-19 and gear up for Juneteenth celebrations.
About the Event
We want to thank you in advance for showing up for your community and supporting our efforts to effect change and inform each other of the dangers of health inequity, the best ways to cope with and fight against covid while celebrating our cultures together.
We will gear up for Juneteenth which is now a U.S. federal holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. Barack Obama once said, “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
What to Expect
This celebration will be marked with plenty of food options, guest speakers, performances, vaccinations and much more.
Please contact thealaskablackcaucus@gmail.com if you are interested in showing your support by becoming a sponsor for this event or future opportunities. We hope to see you there!
