March 16th Community Conversation – It’s time for us to come together…

BIPOC Communities: Coming Together as One! Building Coalitions moderated by Ouida Morrision, Alaska Black Caucus – ABC Economics Chair

In today’s diverse society, the strength of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities lies in unity. Coming together as one means recognizing our shared experiences and struggles, while celebrating our unique cultures and histories. Building coalitions allows us to harness our collective power to advocate for social justice, equity, and systemic change.

By collaborating across different backgrounds, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all. This unity fosters solidarity, amplifies our voices, and strengthens our efforts to address issues such as racial injustice, economic inequality, and access to education. Together, we can build a brighter future, where every member of our community feels valued and empowered. Let’s continue to support one another, share resources, and work hand in hand towards a common goal: a just and equitable society for everyone.
