The Alaska Black Caucus is proud to present a Candidate Forum for the upcoming Anchorage Assembly Special Election with candidates running in District 1, representing North Anchorage.
This 60-minute Zoom conversation is an opportunity for candidates to speak directly to the pressing issues and questions emerging from Alaska’s BIPOC community. This meet-n-greet is not a debate; we are focused on understanding candidates‘ backgrounds, perspectives and positions on issues of concern to the BIPOC community.
This spring, the Alaska Black Caucus invited every candidate through available channels (website, contact forms, email). We are looking forward to the forum with the candidates in attendance.
